Senators to Unveil Strict Gaming Reform Package
A bipartisan group of legislators, led by Sen. Jane Orie (R-Allegheny), Sen.
John Rafferty (R-Montgomery) and Sen. Larry Farnese (D-Philadelphia), will hold
a news conference at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22 in the East Wing Media
Center to unveil a package of gaming reform bills.
The bills would place tighter controls on the Pennsylvania Gaming Board,
provide for greater public disclosure, eliminate conflicts of interest and ban
felons from obtaining gaming licenses.
